Hello there. Be proud of yourself for making it this far and taking the steps to find a safe place to express yourself and to find a counselor that is a good fit for you. I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. I have a wide range of experience since 2014 of working with individuals who struggle with grief, trauma, sexual identity, PTSD, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, substance abuse, relapse prevention and much more. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and am EMDR trained.

I utilize a person-centered therapeutic style that focuses on your needs and utilize a variety of techniques to meet you where you are at. I value listening to you and learning from you because you are the expert about yourself! I tend to focus on identifying negative patterns or thought processes (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy lens), finding realistic coping skills, motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques. My drive is to help you discover your strengths and

things you did not realize about yourself while providing a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment.

Beginning counseling can be an overwhelming experience. Seeking help is an act of courage. With this in mind, I work hard to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment for my clients. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we can work together to gain insight into both your struggles and strengths. Using compassion, understanding, and clinical experience I aim to uncover my client’s innate ability to find growth and fulfillment in their lives.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, my experience and credentials qualify me to counsel individuals, groups, couples, families, children, and parents. I primarily work from a person-centered model of therapy while utilizing CBT and solution-focused techniques to tailor my services to the needs of my client. I have also completed the 'Couples Therapy Level 1 Training' from the Gottman Institute. While I work with a wide variety of clients, my specialties include working with couples, chemical dependency issues, adolescents, and individual adults.

I do not accept insurance but can provide a Superbill for insurance reimbursement. My rate is $80 for individuals and $115 for group/couples. Limited sliding scale appointments are available. Please feel free to contact me at 512-710-8340 or email at Services provided at 7703 North Lamar Blvd. Austin, Tx as well as 1464 E. Whitestone Blvd Suite 1301 Cedar Park, Tx.
